Event Management & Planning

Event Promotion
Plan and Implement Promotion, Advertising and Publicity:
- Oversee the Design and Production of Collateral Materials, Such as Brochures, Posters, Newspaper, Magazine and Transit Ads, Postcards and Invitations.
- Hire Graphic Designers, Printers and Vendors.
- Negotiate and/or Barter for Radio Advertisements.
- Select Guest and Mailing Lists.
- Recommend Publicity Opportunities.
- Distribute Posters and Brochures.
Event Marketing And Sponsorship Sales
Identify and Solicit Sponsorships:
- Represent the Event to Potential Sponsors.
- Research and Identify Potential Sponsors, Developing a Target List.
- Initiate Contact with Corporations Through Written, Telephone and In Person Presentations.
- Create Sponsorship Packages and write Proposals.
- Negotiate Terms on Behalf of the Event.
- Assist in Coordinating Event-Related Special Tie-In Promotions With Sponsors.
- Prepare Sponsorship Contracts and Follow-Up to Insure Commitments.
- Act as Liaison Between Sponsors and the Event to Represent the Best Interests of Both Parties.
- Provide Hospitality to Sponsors on the Day of the Event.
